That’s right, for the next two weeks we turn our eyes to the United Kingdom. We’ll take some virtual tours, learn about life in British Isles of the past, and life in the modern United Kingdom. We’ll try some recipes that we hope are authentic to the region. Our first week we’ll be making Toad in the Hole. We’ve made this the last three years and the kids and staff loved it. For our second week we’ll try Scotch Egg with Curry Mayo. This is a savory and fun appetizer popular in pubs and inns in the United Kingdom and here in the U.S. We’ll treat it as an entree and serve it with iced-tea with a wedge of lemon.
